Like all Government based schools in KZN, we follow the Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS). The four core elements of the curriculum are teaching, learning, assessment and resources used for teaching and learning.
We have designated play areas for our intermediate phase learners and a seperate playground for the senior primary learners.
We do not allow the junior primary learners to join the senior primary learners during the breaks. With the assistance of our Prefects, we try our best to keep them in their designated areas.
The educator that is on duty will report the matter to the senior staff. The parent will then be contacted telephonically and notified of the situation. Should there be no response from the parent then the Principal will take a decision which he deems to be in the best interest of the child. It is therefore extremely important that all medical information is supplied accurately on the yearly documentation sent out to parents.
School starts at 7:30am for all learners. The gates are open from 6:45am. We strongly encourage a drop and go approach provided that you watch your child safely enter the school premises. Junior and senior primary are dismissed at different times. Should you not collect your child within 15 minutes of school being dismissed, learners will be taken to the office area to wait for you.
Kindly contact the school to collect an application form when applications are open. Our application forms will also be available for download. Should you wish to apply online then please you may do so by clicking here
